Oh, What a Beautiful Morning!

In my most recent blog post, I talked about why I love going out early in the morning. On January 11, 2021, I had an amazing experience that prefectly touched on all the reasons I like to go out and walk and photograph at that time. The weather condtions were ideal; little wind, enough cloud cover to make the early morning sky interesting, and at the right height and position relative to the sun to result in a vibrant and long lasting display of color. In addition, the wildlife viewing was diverse and because there was little wind, reflection shots were easy to obtain. Here are just a few of the images I collected:

All in all, any day one gets to see a bald eagle is pretty memorable, but to also have that vibrant morning sky really made the day special.
